Cheap Logo Ideas #MBUstorm #MyBlogU
Sharing is caring!
We have at least three questions from our #MBUstorm contestants on how to come up with a good logo concept on the cheap.
When I was starting my own site, I sat down, opened Photoshop (this was one of the first times I’ve ever opened it) and played with fonts and icons until I saw what I liked. You can still see the result at seosmarty.com
Of course there are many other (and better) ways to come up with a good logo. Here are a few that you can check right away (Please DO suggest more ways: We need as much help as possible here):
Coming up with the concept
First thing first, you need a more or less clear idea of what your logo will look like.
I am bad at logos. I go to Fivver and love 99Designs. It is better to just handle the cost and save time by hiring a pro. #myblogu

I had https://t.co/h4blo4iT4J approach me for a review. They created my Be Happy Tips logo – Liked them & they are pretty cheap. #myblogu

Create a new brainstorm project at MyBlogU for us to brainstorm with you and share what associations your brand name may spur.

- Fiverr: Don’t roll your eyes on us here. I’ve seen some GOLD creative people there: You just need to search well. Look at reviews and samples. Pick a couple designers to try: It’s $5 you are risking here.
- Stock logos: It takes some searching. You can also modify the logo in photoshop once you purchase it but it’s an easy and fast option! Some good stock logo sources include:
What are your suggestions? It’s open mic time!

Be aware that you can NOT use stock images in your logo – T&C specifically says not to do so #myblogu

Theme! RT @seosmarty: What comes first: A theme or a logo? (Theme here) #myblogu

It's easier to brainstorm a logo when you know the colors (those come from the theme)… #myblogu

For themes, I go with @StudioPress because I know they will be updated, supported and use Genesis platform. #myblogu
